Are you ready for Election Day on November 7?
Participation in local elections is crucial. Our county- and town-level officials make decisions that affect our everyday lives, yet voter turnout, especially in New York State, is historically low for local elections. RaisingVoicesUSA wants to change that trend.
We encourage you to use the opportunities and resources below to find a pathway for getting involved in the upcoming elections.
Clean up Smith Pond this Saturday!
Join us on Saturday, October 21 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. for a cleanup event at Smith Pond in Rockville Centre. Help us beautify our local green spaces with friends and neighbors!
This event is hosted by NYS Senator Todd Kaminsky, The Village of Rockville Centre, and NYS Assemblyman Brian Curran and co-sponsored by RaisingVoicesUSA.
