Including: Gun violence protection advocacy, postcard writing, and phone banking tool kit
On Monday morning, we woke up to news of a horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas that left 59 people dead and hundreds injured.
The statistics on gun violence in the United States paint a bleak picture: "data compiled by the Gun Violence Archive reveals there is a mass shooting – defined as four or more people shot in one incident, not including the shooter – every nine out of 10 days on average."
Now is the time to raise our voices and advocate for common sense gun laws.
Join us for an evening of advocacy where we will discuss gun violence in America and the role of the NRA in our political system. We'll write postcards to our elected officials and discuss strategies for holding our legislators accountable for their decisions on an issue that affects us all.
RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org for location details.
Not in New York?
Gun control is a national issue, so if you're not in New York, you can join virtually by writing postcards to your own elected officials. Download postcard templates on our website!
Take and share photos of your work on social media (be sure to tag RaisingVoicesUSA) or send to the email address above and we will share them for you.
We can all make a difference from wherever we are!
