Nearly 30 million people living in the United States lack health insurance, and that number is on the rise.

RaisingVoicesUSA works to educate and promote understanding of the various health care needs and resources in the United States, and to explore the implications of local and federal healthcare policy options. Based on the belief that healthcare is a social good—not merely a market commodity—we advocate for legislation, policy, and practices that promote good health and ensure people can access medical care when they need it, without financial hardship.
