Are you ready for Election Day on November 7?
Participation in local elections is crucial. Our county- and town-level officials make decisions that affect our everyday lives, yet voter turnout, especially in New York State, is historically low for local elections. RaisingVoicesUSA wants to change that trend.
We encourage you to use the opportunities and resources below to find a pathway for getting involved in the upcoming elections.

EMPOWER
Stay engaged with upcoming events.
We have a stacked calendar of events this fall, including a “Do Me a Favor” postcard party supporting local elections on the evening of October 30 (co-sponsored by RaisingVoicesUSA and Indivisible of Rockville Centre). Our event calendar also lists candidate forums, where you can get to know the people running to represent you in local government.
In the meantime, encourage everyone you know to get out and vote on November 7. Democracy depends on participation, and we need everyone!
